Wifi calling on OnePlus 10 pro

I recently brought my new OnePlus 10 pro to a Verizon store to have it activated. They told me it was not possible and had to Google the phone because they had no idea what it was. Finally, they said they could activate it, but it was not compatible with wifi calling, so essentially not compatible with the Verizon network. I read about this phone for a month and never found anything that said the phone does not support wifi calling. I have posted on every forum and no one can confirm this. Before I return the phone, I want to know if this is true and the phone is really not compatible.
