-110 dBm on Jetpack 6620L

I have a  Jetpack MiFi 6620L and my signal(RSRP) is -110dBm.  There are usually 2 signal bars.  The speed doesn't seem any better than my old DSL.  Is -110 normal?  Would some kind of antenna help?

What is the SNR and Band?

The 3GStore.com and Antennagear.com have antennas. Here’s an inexpensive one:

SNR changes as I look at it but it is generally -3dB.  2.4GHz.

SNR should be a positive value. A negative value means noise is overwhelming the signal. Try dropping back to 3G: login to the device at http://my.jetpack or http://192.168.1.1 and navigate to Jetpack Settings > Advanced > Networks > Cellular Data > Preferred Network Technology. Note the current setting and then change it to CDMA Only and Save Changes. If you can, check About Jetpack > Diagnostics for the signal level.

I’m not expecting this to work better, but there is a chance that it might. The solution may be an external antenna.

thanks for your help.  This seems to help the speed a little.  I may still invest in that antenna.  There is no SNR value now and the signal this morning is about -90dBm.  I do have a steady 3 signal bars.  Again, thank you.
