I have a Kindle with software version 2.5.2 and the built in 3G service. I recently moved to an area where there is no Verizon cell reception and now have a Samsung network extender that works great with various 3G and 4G Verizon cell phones that my family has. However, the Kindle will not connect. Why not??

Was the Kindle supposed to connect to the Verizon Wireless network? The last time I checked, Amazon used ATT for their 3G connection.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Kindle won't connect because it uses the Sprint network, not Verizon.
