48 Hours and no update to MiFi usage?

So how am I supposed to keep track of my usage if it has not been updated by Verizon for 48 hours? And believe me, you need to keep track (as so many other posts on this forum are discussing). Month before last we had $81 in overages so I'm not going to make that mistake again.
This is frustrating.....

Overages can be scary!
Do you have the $40 or $60 plan? I use the $60 plan and never come close to using even 1/2 my alloted GB, but the first month I was paranoid about it until I realized I could use the MiFi every day for my purposes and not worry about data usage. What specifically are you using yours for? We seldom connect my MiFi to a PC. Mostly it's used for Touchs, which aren't data hogs.
