AC595U Modem help

I got a AC595U modem some time ago, and it works great. However, I am looking into getting interenet through a modem through the house. I got a two year plan for this modem, and I do not know how long I have had it. How can I figure out how much longer i need to wait to switch?

Also, if noone knows this, does anyone know if you can get XBOX live through the AC595U modem?
