We just built a new house, cell reception is fairly good but no internet service available. We bought a MiFi and it is working but would like better reception for it and our cell phones. Thinking about a Wilson Electronics Yagi antenna/amp and a central inside house ceiling mounted thing they have (not quite that informed as you might guess). We have a direct line of sight to a tower (don't know if its Verizon) from our roof. Would setting something up like this help to improve our wireless systems (miFi/phones)?

done right it should help you considerably.
how well a repeater like that works, depends on the quality/availability of signal at receiving antenna.
you might want to do a 'local site survey' first, as explained in http://bit.ly/rssi
by the way, the ceiling mounted dome antenna is nowhere near as powerful as the wilson 301135 panel antenna.
i'd never recommend the dome to anyone.

Thanks for the quick reply, which amp would you suggest?

i would suggest doing the site survey as described in that article, and giving those folks a call with your results.
