Can't send/receive Comcast emails in Outlook with JetPack 4620

Purchased a JetPack last week, hooked it up, and quickly discovered that while I can send/receive gmail within Outlook, I get a send/receive error with Comcast.  A quick search of the Internet tells me I'm not the only one, but I can't find a solution.  Can someone please help?  I'm dead in the water right now, as Comcast is my default e-mail address.  (another reason to hate Comcast)

Make sure you are set up according to this Comcast guide.

If this doesn't work, then you need to call Comcast.  It seems a lot of people are having issues and a phone call helps.

Anne,

Can you share with us the specific error message that you recieve from Outlook?  Screenshot or a text copy would be great.

A few problems have been exposed with the 4620L that may be related to this issue.  Specifically certain websites like www.idenfix.com do not work with the 4620L when the do work for other VZW devices.  Let us know your Computer OS and Outlook version too if possible.

Can you share some of the info that you have found about the problem too?  Some links would be great.  There may be some clues if we can link everything togeather.

John, I am on Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 and Mozilla Firefox.  However, I tried RushFan2112's link and changed my settings to the ones suggested by Comcast for Outlook 2010, and I was finally able to send/receive.  Woo hoo!  Going to try the same with my laptop next and hope I'm equally successful.
