Cannot access my home's linksys router with HP Mini Netbook

I have a home network with a linksys wireless router.  Can I use the HP Mini Netbook with broadband card to access my network?  I am having problems doing so and was wondering if the broadband card will work in this application.

Depending on your Netbook's model, the following HP Netbook's would be able to access your homes network: HP Mini 1151NR Netbook (802.11 b/g) HP Mini 210-1076NR Netbook (802.11 b/g) HP Mini 311-1037NR Netbook (802.11 b/g) ***Once you turn on the WiFi on your Netbook, you should be able to find the name of your home network and connect.
