I have just received my fivespot.
I connected it to the computer and ran the setup.
The software seemed to install fine and the VZ manager seems to run fine.
The problem I am having is it is not detecting the fivespot and as far as I can determine the expected drivers are not installed.
I am running XP professional, SP3, with all updates installed.
The Wi-If from the fivespot is being seen, but obviously I can't go through the activation process since it isn't being detected.
Please let me know if you need any additional information and any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Try re-downloading the software again with the drivers.
Copy and paste the link below into your browser's address bar for the drivers.

A little progress. I installed the Fivespot on my Mac server and it is seeing it.
Now I seem to not have enough signal to register and being a desktop and a server, I have a very limited ability to move the computer.
It would be much better if it would work with my windows laptop since that is obviously much more moble than a mac mini.

When i first installed my fivespot, it would not detect it. Called tech support with no helpful information.. My son found out it was a windows update that had not been downloaded. My computer automatically installs the high priority updates, but this one was an optional one he found when he went to windows updates.. Hope this helps !!

I was able to activate it and it seems to mostly work.
The detection is still a little erratic, but for the most part it is working now.
Getting past the activation seems to be the really big thing.
I can do most other things without it being connected.

Updating the software resolved the problem.
I had tried the option to check for updates in the prior program, but it reported I had the latest version.
I uninstalled the old version of the manager and installed the one you linked to and updated the firmware on the fivespot and it appears to be working as expected.
Thank-you very much for your help.
