Connecting the AC791 to my Surface Pro 3 in USB tethering breaks the machine.

When I connect my AC791 to my Surface Pro 3 in USB tethering, the Surface runs very, very slow. Is there an updated Windows 10 driver for this device?

Not that I know about. The driver should be built in to Windows.

As far as I can tell Netgear/Verizon has not released updated firmware.

Login to the Jetpack’s web interface and play around with the settings. Start by turning off IPv6 and restart the Jetpack and Surface so they reconnect on startup. You should probably delete the existing wireless profile for the Jetpack in Windows and then reconnect to it. Your might call Customer Service (800) 922-0204 so they are aware of the issue and can offer any assistance they have.
