Constantly having to reset the router

I have Verizon's home fusion broadband since late November, 2013 and initially it worked well but for the last two months we are constantly dropping our internet connection to the point that we have to unplug the router,unplug the relay in the basement and then plug everything back in.  We are currently doing this a minimum of 5 times per day.  If anyone has any thoughts on how to fix this that would be great as my phone calls to Verizon have not produced a fix.
