Data usage more than doubled.

My data usage more than doubled last month, according to my statement, these occured during times when the computer was turned off!!! My usual usage averaged 2500-3000 MB / month for the last two and half years. this month Verizon says I used 6330 MB. I have done nothing out of the ordinary for the entire month. Am i being ghosted, pirated or what?? 

Today I haven't been on the net and computer was off and my data usage jumped up 297 MB usage.  Help Please

See my message two above yours. This figure is unreliable. Also, I was informed that starting a week ago Saturday there was a "data outage" (i.e., network failure of some kind), and that subsequent data usage figures are more than usually unreliable because of that. Call a customer service rep and explain. Explain this lunacy and tell them you expect not to be charged for any data overages that may seem to exist at the end of your billing period. Get their name and direct number. That's what I did.

Check these time stamps for data usage i know for a fact i didn't use.

I remember exactly what i was doing. Just surfing, no downloading . At around 4:30 pm i started listening to some streaming radio for about an hour but that doesn't use any more then 20mb or so an hour.

Join the club. I averaged 3500MB per month then 2 months ago it jumped to double. Last month I also saw high usage amounts, and so far this month it's unbellevable what they are saying my usage is. They credited my account for the past two months, after many phone calls and being called a lair. They now tell me it is an issue with the tower, which has not been fixed yet.

 

I also know that I wasn't online when they claimed I had usage. I came home to find my house broken into. At the time of the usage I was calling 911. I didn't get online until later that night.
