Difference between "3G USB Modems" & "For Tablets, Mobile Hotspots, Netbooks & Notebooks" plan?

I currently have a MiFi 2200 Mobile Hotspot for the $59.99 5GB plan. I saw that they offered 10GB for $80 and wanted to switch but it was under a different plan. What exactly is the difference. I was under the impression that I  had a "Mobile Hotspot" because that's what the device I'm using is called. So why am I under the 3g usb modem plan? Would I be able to switch over to the 10GB plan with my current device? Thank you! :smileyhappy:

Yes you can switch. The reason you are on a USB Modem plan is because that is what the $59.99 plan is now. If you go to change your plan you will see the first tab of USB Modem plans available because you are currently on one, and next tab over is the MiFi/Netbook plans where you will see the $80 10 gig plan you csn switch to if you want. Or in that same tab switch to the $50 5 gig plan and save 10 bucks.
