I have a Verizon Fivespot. It's been around since October, and the only issues are occasional wifi problems. It is my primary internet source. The other day it updated, WHILE CONNECTED TO MY LAPTOP, the VZAccess manager and the firmware of the device. Right after the update, a previously fine connection area became a roaming area. I don't know what the deal is. I was using it in Kentucky, and then at home in Southern Indiana. I'm using it right now, and probably running the risk of the huge roaming charges. Please tell me what I need to do to stop the roaming! Or how to go back to the old firmware.

I have provided some steps below that may help.
Step 1 – Soft reset
- Power the device off
- Pull the battery

Step 2 – Try resetting the device http://support.vzw.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=36433
Step 3 – Relocate the device (something in the immediate location may be interfering with the signal)
Step 4 – Try another activation on the device using VZAM

I hope this helps.
