Which VZW device are you referring to here?

You could try updating your current media player or perhaps try a different media player or video format.  File transfers should not effect the audio on a video file, it should all arrive in one peice the same way that it was created on the phone.  Either the sound was recorded incorrectly or the media player is not interpereting the information correctly.
