I cannot get the HBR to pass SSH through its firewall. I have set up port forwarding (22) in the HBR, I also tried putting the SSH server in the DMZ. No success. I can connect to the SSH server through the LAN side, but no luck from an external WAN connection. I am curious if anyone has been able to port forward anything through this device yet?
SSH port 22 is BLOCKED by Verizon (took me a while to find out). Please set your SSH port to something other than 22 on your SSH server.
I ssh into my NAS all the time via port 22; I have it forwarded to the internal IP of my NAS in Port Forwarding and it worked immediately.
Destination port 22, TCP Any 22 -> 192.168.1.69
