How to connect LT2016U Netbook running OSX Snow Leopard

Hi

We have acquired two Gateway LT2016U Netbooks from Verizon and both are subscribed to Verizon's 5 GB data plans.

I've created an OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2 boot disk using a 16GB High-Speed SDHC card (as well as an OSX boot disk on a USB stick).  The netbook's hard drive has the standard XP image, updated to SP3 - I have not wanted to screw up the hard drive set up.

Everything OSX boots just fine and runs nicely from SDHC or USB.  However, both the internal Atheros WiFi and Qualcom 3G cards are not operable under Snow Leopard.  I have been able to get WiFi using a Netgear USB adapter, but - of course - would like to be able to make use of the costly 3G data plan.

Based on stuff I read online, I have a Dell 1510 half-height mini PCI-e WiFi card ordered, which supposedly will allow internal WiFi.

But isn't there some way to get the internal Qualcom 3G operating under OSX?

Any help would be so appreciated - I feel like I have this "hackintosh" 90% there, if I can just get past the 3G obstacle.
