How to setup 175 modem on dlink routed network?

Have wireless network 1 PC, 1 MacOSX Leopard, 1 old MacOSX Panther(uh-oh) all working thru D-Link router.  Need to set up VZ wireless modem to the network; plan to move the 175 modem to the laptop directly for travel.  Yes, while traveling the 2 Macs won't have internet.  There are no instructions to set up the 175 wireless modem.  Can anyone help?
