I just signed on to Verizon G-4 wireless to run my iPod. I also have at this time Hughesnet, as they gave me 30 days before I end their services, Any way, if the Verizon unit sits for a while, it shuts down and my iPod switches back to Hughesnet, I then have to push the button on the Verizon unit to re-connect.
1-Is it usual for the Verizon unit to disconnect when not being used?
2- will it continue to disconnect when I turn off Hughesnet?
Thank you!

30 days? Return policy for Verizon Wireless devices is 14 days. Which MiFi device are you using? Can you please provide some more details?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thank you Ann, the 30 day period I talked about is my Hughesnet account, they gave me 30 free days to decide if I wanted to leave. I have a Samsung Verizon 4G-let. My issue is it shuts down, and I have to push the button on the unit to re-start it. Once I get rid of Hughnet will I have to continue to re-start it after it sits idle for a shorty period of time?
