I have enjoyed customizing the config file for my MiFi 2200. It basically does everything I want it to. I NEVER tether it using Acccess Manager. Here is what I need to know before accepting the firmware upgrade:
1. When I charge it from my USB, will it shut off WiFi?
2. Are there any negatives to taking the upgrade?
3. Will it be any faster afterwards?

u can toggle wifi on/off when charging if u get the update. The update works great. I recommend u get it.
It's no faster. I've seen no negatives to the update.
