LG LTE Modem VPN Not Working....

Hi, I had a MIFI working great on my Win 7 notebook, but while the upgrade to the LG modem went smoothly, the VPN only sporadically works now.  By sporadically, I mean that sometimes it will connect after many minutes. Also, when it is connected, the throughput to the VPN resource (my company's corporate network) seems very slow.

We pretty much use the standard Micorosft VPN out of the box so there is no third-party VPN involved.

I've tried all sorts of VPN settings and none of them work.

I'm wondering if there is a Verizon issue or if anyone knows of any testing programs, etc. The modem is pretty much useless without the VPN for me.

The problem is a double NAT. If you logon to the mifi webpage and look at the ip address it is getting from verizon it will be a 10.x.x.x number. In addition the mifi is also natting hte connection between you and verizon. VPN connections can not authenticate through a double nat.

I'm using a Mifi 4G LTE.  If I use it without enabling VPN, it works fine.  If I enable VPN (Cisco VPN Client V 5.0.07.0290) after a few minutes, hosts become unreachable through browsing.  What's strange is any connections that are currently 'active' continue to work.  Also, iPhone or another computer through the mifi become unable to access hosts through web browser.  Was on phone with Verizon tech for a few hours trying to troubleshoot - very helpful and persistent.  Ticket is still 'open.' I'm still working with the tech.

What I'm concerned about is if VPN will ever be supported?  I *must* have VPN support thorugh the 4G LTE or I need to return it.

Anyone have any updated info on support for VPN?
