MIFI 2200 OTA Won't Tether

Hey everyone.

I've had the MiFi 2200 OTA for about 18 months, works great in wifi mode. 

Even from the start, it wouldn't connect in tether mode, give an error during the driver install, Data Interface driver failed.

Anyone seen this before and know how to fix?
