Mac OS 10.6.7 and Samsung SCH-LC11 Hotspot

Seems Mac OS 10.6.7 has an issue with keeping a connection when using WPA on certain wireless routers. The Samsung hotspot is one router that is an issue for this version of the OS. If you are having problems connecting with your MAC change the wireless security to WPA 2.

I'm not sure why Samsung decided to make WPA the default but I guess it is so the device is compatible with more wireless clients out of the box. I haven't tested WPA 2 with any other computers or wireless clients yet so I don't recommend this for other wireless clients if your device currently works with WPA.

Interesting; I dont have a problem with 10.6.7 and the LC11 with default settings.
