After doing a hard reset I have encountered some interesting and annoying issues:
I cannot log in to the configuration page (192.168.1.1) because the passwords I use are "incorrect". I have tried the following:
-admin, Admin, ADMIN
-phone number associated with device
-password
-the original wireless password on the back of the device
-IMEI number -0 at the end
-0000
Another interesting issue I'm experiencing is the SSID Broadcast is now unsecured. And without being able to get into the configurations page, I cannot change it.
Any help tips, things I can try? I have hard reset it multiple times.
Also I upgraded the firmware (which this seems it might be the root of all my problems) to the 2.28.02 version. The drivers install completely. When I do the DUU thing in the directions; at the end of it I get an error. "Firmware upgrade failed. Errorcode=1" - Something to that effect.
I have no issues connecting to the internet, as I am on now making this post. But I want to setup my device. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

if you hard reset it again it will revert to wpa2 secure.
password should be the password on the back unless you've had a replacement..seems odd

Hard resetting it again does not revert it back to wpa2 secure for whatever reason.
Also SSID name has changed from what it used to be.
Was: Verizon Mifi4510L xxxx Secure - xxxx being numbers
Now: Verizon Mifi4510L 0000 Secure

Tech support sending new device. I guess no one has the answer.

Cole,
It sounds like your Firmware update was disrupted and bricked your previous device. That would explain your symptoms, why you could not connect and why VZW had to send you a replacement. Its unfortunate but it does not happen very often with these devices. If it happens again you can bring it directly into a VZW store where they can swap it or service it for you.
