In case I ever need it, I like to locate the master reset button. Manual says "on bottom of device."
My device appears to have two buttons, one right next to battery compartment, one near edge opposite
from USB socket. Anyone know which is Master Reset?

It's not a "button". It's a HOLE in case. Use a paper clip or similar object.
