Hello everyone, my every first post here. Just got my MiFi 2200 was wondering its wifi power output. Is the 2200's wifi power output the same as the one in wifi router? Does it have the same range as the household wifi router? Thanks.
nope not the same output, the mifi has no external antenna so wifi range is limited, however you can amplify the wifi and redistributed with one of these :

It allows users to connect to a WiFi source and either repeat/relay/extend that connectivity wirelessly, or easily convert from wireless to wired access via the ethernet port on the bridge
I can't believe that the Pepwave is the only solution.
Has anyone tried the HWREN1 from Hawking Technologies?
Or any other Extender/Repeater device?
