MiFi 2200 - static I.P. or dynamic?

Hi,

 

I am looking to get the MiFi 2200 and I was wondering if you are given a static I.P. or a dynamic one.  And if it is dynamic do they route all the wireless traffic through a proxy server of some kind?  Is there an option to getting a static I.P. with this device?
