The device has about 90% battery and will only turn on if I pull the battery out for about a minute then replace it, and then it will boot up and shortly after it connects to the network it powers off. I've tried the reset button on the device itself but it will not stay powered on long enough to connect to the setup site.

I definitely understand why this concerns you. We want you to have a reliable device, I apologize for these problems. Have you tried a different battery? If you have not, please take a to store so they can test it.
