Does anyone know if it is possible to have this device tethered to laptop #1 and have another laptop access the unit wirelessly. I seem to have it working tethered to either laptop or untethered to either laptop, but not tethered to one and at the same time wirelessly to the other.
Thanks

I understand that the MiFi has to be untethered for mutiple laptops or other devices to connect at the same time.
I usually charge my MiFi independent of our two laptops so that we both have access to the internet.

If your laptop or other device is tethered, it is the ONLY device that can use it.
If you want more than 1 device to use the MiFi you must use it wirelessly with all the devices.
You can plug the MiFi into an electric outlet and still use it with multiple devices, but once it is tethered (hooked up with the usb cable to a device).
Hope this helps.
