How does VZ Access Manager keep track of my data usage when using my Mife in wifi mode? Do I need to tether it via USB mode and connect to VZ Access on occasion or what? Sure could use some advice.

That just tells you your data usage when tethered to the computer via USB Mode....what about wifi mode?
It makes no difference how your computer is connected to your Verizon mobile broadband device, wired or wireless. If you are using your Verizon mobile broadband account to connect to the internet, you are using your allotment of bandwidth. You can check your usage through VZAccess Manager or by logging onto this site. There is, however, a day or two delay in reporting your actual usage.
