My Samsung SCH-LC11 has spotty service lately

It is using a 4g network but at times (sometimes very long periods) I have very slow speeds. Sometimes to such a crawl that the web page that is loading will time out. Seems to be happening more often lately. Why is this happening. 4g should be somewhat fast, no?
