My UMW190 Global USB Modem can connect and shows signs of such, however, that is all it does.

  It does not have nearly enough activity to even bring up the most basic of sites.  What should I do?

imatt, Let's get your internet working! What happens when you try to access a site? What error messages do you receive? Are there any bars of signal showing next to the device? How long have you been having this issue? Please share details so we can help.
