The past two or three weeks the Jetpack has been heating up - therefore shutting down or taking forever to open a page online. As for the charging - most times it would not need charging for at least 2 days. Now it is needed 2 times a day.
What causes the heating up? How do we fix that? What is causing the charging issue?

Almost all of the heat on a Jetpack comes from the battery. Sounds like the battery is failing if the Jetpack is becoming noticeably hot to the touch.

Purchase a replacement battery, or request one if your Jetpack is still covered under warranty.

Your Li-Ion battery is not able to hold a charge anymore. This is most likely the result of how you are operating or storing the device. Standard Li-Ion battery best practices would apply to the Jetpack battery as well if longevity is an issue.
