Prior to the install of my network extender, my Nokia phone battery would last 2-3 days. Once I installed the Network Extender in my home, my battery does not even last 1 day.
Has anyone else had this occur?
I have a Moto Droid, and found that at home, with the poor signal I got, less than 1 hour of talking on the phone ate 70% of my battery.
After getting the Network Extender, this has definitely improved. Spent almost 3 hours talking with the GF one night, and it barely used 20% of my battery.
YMMV, I guess.
Ditto! I tested my cell phone with the network extender and found:
Stand by alone (no talking) with the phone sitting next to the network extender, the battery on the cell phone drains in about 8-10 hours.
Retest with the network extender unplugged, the phone still had a near full charge after two days.
Re-plugged the network extender and again, the cell phone on stand-by was drained in less 12 hours.
The reception was a bit better, but the network extender is going back to the big V.
