Network Extender Knocks Out Entire Network

Whenever I connect the network extender it seems to be working fine but, after a few minutes, the wifi starts to get knocked out and then back again... If I disconnect it, the network stabilizes again with the signal coming from the main router. I've tried resetting extender multiple times but no use. Any ideas?

Try separating the two radios (Wi-Fi and NE) as far as possible. You may also get better results by using Wi-Fi channel 11.
