I have just ordered a new laptop from Dell. I have a USB modem for my daugher's laptop. Will I have to puchase anything for both laptops to connect to the same number. I am a previous Alltel customer and haven't swapped any of my devices over to Verizon devices yet. Could someone please let me know so I can prepare for this. My laptop will be in soon.

if both laptops will be in the same location (house/office) then you can operate the USB modem attached to a "3G router", which will allow you to share the internet connection with multiple computers. your laptops would connect via WiFi to the router.
