PRL Updates and mifi

With our phones it's been suggested that we do a PRL update quasi-regularly - do we need to do the same thing with mobile hotspots, and if so, how do we do it? There's no keyboard to dial *228 ...

Hello,

 

PRL = Preferred Roaming List

 

PRL updates are not needed with MiFi devices, nor is there an option to do so.  I would assume that the PRL updates are happening for you automatically in the background or Over-The-Air, if they are even needed at all.

When I go to the admin page of my MiFi 2200 via WiFi, I sometimes see a button labelled "PRL Updates".  It is not there now.
