I have deployed about 100 of these and of that 100 about 12 will not connect to the internet. I get the error code WMC 2216?
I've tried them on different computers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the verizon access manager with no luck. Any ideas?
Let's get to the bottom of this bettyjane! Are you using the same operting system? If so, what operating system are you using? If you are using Windos XP check to see if the internet APN is changed from "vzwinternet". You can do so by navigaing to Options>Preferences in VZAccess Manager (VZAM). If it does not display "vzwinternet", please restore APN with "vzwinternet" or click "Restore Default" button, and then retry to connect. If you are using Windows 7 with VZAM version 18.104.22.168
Please try changing the operating mode by following the steps below:
1. With VZAM open, select Options and Preferences.
2. Under Connect, go to the Device Operating Mode field.
3. Change the setting from Windows Mobile Broadband to LAN Adapter. Click OK.
4. Then, click the Connect button for network connection
