Questions about mobile broadband

Hi, I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with.  How much faster is mobile broadband than dial up? (can you watch u tube videos?) Also which is better for my laptop, a usb modem or an air card?  Thanks for any help.

You have to figure dial up is around 50Kbps and Mobile Broadband is 1000Kbps so it's signifiantly faster. I've streamed a ton of video on my aircard and it looks as good as when I'm plugged in on my roadrunner modem at my house. There is really no difference between an aircard and a USB modem from a speed perspective so it depends on how much of the device you want sticking out of your laptop. The USB modem's still out quite a bit further than the regular modems.
