Restoring mifi to factory settings

We've decided we don't need our mifi anymore and are looking to sell it. Is there anything we need to do to clear data off it? We'd like to restore it to factory settings.

There should be an option for that. Have you checked the user manual? You can find the full user manual on the Device support

Use the level 3 reset of the MiFi to restore the device to factory defaults. Any personal data stored on the MiFi will be wiped out during that proceedure.
Level 3 Reset
- Power on the MiFi
- Remove the back cover
- Press and hold the Reset button next to the battery for 10 seconds
a. Watch the MiFi E-Ink display to see if all the icons are displayed
- Release the Reset button
- Reassemble the MiFi
- Test your connection
