What is the consensus for the most efficient security software to work with Mobile Broadband.
Is it essential to have since Verizon data is uniquely encrypted? I'm running Vista Home / 64bit
Thanks in advance.....

The encryption is over the air and through VZW's network. Once it hits the public internet, you are on your own. Though your IP address changes each time you dial up, which is better than a cable/DSL which may change once a month or once a year, you are still vulnerable. I have had good luck with Zone Alarm for either the basic firewall or firewall and anti virus. Consumer Reports recently had a article about anti virus software.
