Is there a way to start up a USB720 so that any user that logs into the computer can use it without starting and stopping the application? I placed a shortcut to the application manager in Documents and Settings/All Users/Programs/Startup. I never got internet access but when I tried to start a session, it said another user had it? Thanks for any help.
Also, is there a way to search just this forum? I put this in search and they asked for my zip code?? What's that about?
Maybe if XP (I'm assuming that is the OS you are using, Vista will be similar) manages the connection instead of VZAccess Manger, you won't have the error. Try the following:
Network Connections> New connection wizard
Connect to internet
Set up manually
dial-up modem
Name it whatever you like
Phone number is #777
The username is yourphonenumber@vzw3g.com
The password is vzw3g.com
Test to make sure it works. If so, find that connection and right-click> Properties. Then in the Options tab, deselect the four Dialing Options. This way, it will dial up without any user interaction. Now, you can create a shortcut of the dial-up connector and put it into the All Users\Startup folder.
