It appears that streaming on my Samsung SmartTV for two hours a month uses more than 6-7GB of the MIFI. Other than not streaming, any suggestions for bringing the usage under 15GB? I don't know what good streaming shows is if it uses up so many GBs in just two hours each month. My phone usage is usually 8-12 GBs but I've been showing usage of 21+ GBs per month for the past two months.

Great question, fridayag! I definitely recognize the growing popularity of streaming and its considerable data requirements. Let's get to the bottom of this. What streaming services are you using? My suggestions for bringing down usage would be to instead connect your Samsung Smart TV to an in home Wi-Fi, another great alternative would be to lower the video quality on your streaming service. Many streaming services are automatically set to stream at 1080p, you can save on data by turning this down to 480p. You will lose out on some picture quality but the good news is that the data consumption will lower.
In addition, Verizon provides a data calculator here that will help you gauge your estimated data usage for video streaming: http://spr.ly/6583DrStx
