Trying to connect zte ad3700 to the new Cradlepoint CTR35

Has anyone successfully connected an ad3700 to a router? I just got a CTR35 which listed 12, 3G Verizon modems as supported (not the ad3700, it's not listed anywhere in the world). I went with cradlepoint because it seemed like they have supported broadband modems the longest. Everything appears to work, with the exception of "can not connect to the internet".

Windows 7 works good (but slow) with the normal USB ad3700 connection.

If it's not listed by CradlePoint as supported, it's probably not going to work. It's not going to have the drivers the router needs.
