I recently upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and now have an issue with the USB 760 modem.
When the computer is plugged in(AC) and I shut down the computer, the green light on the USB device shuts off. When I do not have my computer plugged in and shut it down, the light on the USB 760 does not turn off. I have played around with the power options on my computer and no success.
When the computer is running on battery power, I can only get the USB to turn off when I choose the "Power down WWAN device" in Verizon Access Manager. Previously I never had to do that when I had it running on Windows Vista. I am running the most current version of the access manager.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes...unplugging it is an option but never had to do that before, the device would shut off when the computer was shut down previously.
