Does anyone make a usb cable that does not carry the DATA signal but can charge the 2200? If you use the included cable, the device is tethered and other users cannot access it. I would like to get just the charge signal to the device.

Seems the only way to do what you want is to make the cable yourself from an existing USB cable. bmclaurin is the author of the process to do the modification to the cable.
