It may be too late to do anything about it but in Jun 2010 I applied for VZW Broadband service because living in the country that was my only choice & for years Verizon/VZW has refused to upgrade the area because it isn't profitable enough for them. Being a novice at this sort of thing & not knowing the right questions to ask, I was sold the USB1000 Global Modem w/5GB monthly package. What a joke. As I look back, there was no need for me to be sold the 1000 Global; the 760 would have done just fine. A monthly limit of 5GB, are you kidding me & don't tell me to upgrade to 10GB. 10GB should be the minimum. Now I have to wait until Jun 2012 to do anything about it & what I have no idea. I strongly feel the sales rep had a quota to fill. I very much dislike this VZW mobile broadband & because Verizon/VZW refuses to upgrade the area I live in, we residents will never see 4G, fios, etc. Any suggestions as to what I can & should do?
