Hello all, I am new to the forum.

I have been using a USB720 modem card to connect to the internet w/ laptop. Suddenly  it stopped working, and it doesn't recognize the USB720 card at all when plugged into the USB port. It says the device is not recognized, and possibly malfunctioned. It says to try to reconnect the device but I have tried several times with no luck. I apologize if this topic is already somewhere else, if so .. please direct me! I've tried system restore with no luck. (It has been working fine for quite some time now) Do I need to reinstall a driver for it perhaps? Any help is greatly apprecicated!

Thanks!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling VZ access manager.

  1. Ensure the wireless device is disconnected from the computer.
  2. From the Windows desktop, navigate: Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > (Programs and Features) Uninstall a Program .
Note In Windows XP navigate: Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
  3. Select VZAccess Manager then click (Change / Remove) Uninstall / Change.
Uninstall or change a program with VZAccess Manager highlighted
  4. Ensure Automatic is selected then click Next.
Select Uninstall Method screen with Automatic highlighted
  5. Click Finish.
    Perform Uninstall confirmation screen
  6. Repeat step 3 to uninstall the device drivers.
Note Device drivers may vary depending upon the device installed, (e.g. SAMSUNG Mobile USB DRIVER, Mobile Broadband Generic Drivers, PANTCH PC USB Modem Software, etc.).
  7. Restart the computer.
  8. Reinstall VZAccess Manager via the appropriate method.
