USB760 issue, maybe

I just received a USB760 modem today. No problem with getting it setup and activated on the laptop and then getting to the internet. But the USB760 is not working with the Cradlepoint PHS300 Wi-Fi router. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Cradlepoint or the USB modem. I can use a Motorola W755 phone tethered to the PHS300 just fine, the 'Network' LED on the PHS300 goes amber and then green as it makes the connection to the Verizon network. Plug the USB760 into the PHS300 and nothing happens, the 'Network' LED shows no activity. Firmware on the PHS300 is version 2.1.0, dated 2008/03/24.

Problem resolved, uploading the latest version of the firmware for the Cradlepoint was the fix.
