I am trying to install the USB modem on a PC laptop after using it on a MacBook Pro for several months.  The software fails to configure the modem.  How to work around this?  I was told when I bought the modem I could move it to another computer.

Thanks.

yah vzaccess is [edit]......it comply screwed my computers network (windows 7)...i completly removed drivers/software etc...and well still screwed up.  i hate how it d/c my wifi when i start it even though i told vz access to not manage my wifi >_>

what u can do is just set up the connection manually, only issue is u cant see your signal problem (only reason i use vz access myself)

The best and simpliest way is to get a wireless router from CradlePoint and insert the USB760 no problems anymore,  I got mine from here http://www.3gstore.com/cradlepoint , with a router you will only need to setup the wireless connection once and any user on any computer can connect via wifi or ethernet.   its so easy even a cavemen can do it.  3gstore support is the best in the business if you ever have issues you will be glad to have them as a backup.  Check out the forums at http://www.evdoforums.com for real world help.

Order from 3gstore > Get the router and turn it on > Connect your verizon card to the rotuer > 15 seconds your connected just connect to the wifi like you would at a coffe shop.
